The conference Kostelecké inspirování 2025 was attended by 76 participants from 8 institutions, who contributed to a diverse and inspiring scientific programme. During the conference, participants presented 14 talks and 17 posters highlighting recent research in ecology, zoology, botany, environmental sciences, biodiversity, landscape planning, and other related fields.
This year's program featured three plenary lectures by distinguished guest speakers:
- Jan Hanel (Liberec Zoo) opened the conference with a presentation titled “Effective conservation and sustainable management of raptor species both in captivity and in the wild."
- Carlos Hernández-Castellano (Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague) kicked off the afternoon session with a presentation titled “Ecological networks in biodiversity conservation.”
- Martina Vítková (Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague) opened Friday’s program with a lecture titled “Waste-derived amendments for soil remediation.”
